New employees at Heatseal
Heatseal welcomes our newest employees James and Kerry! This husband and wife team have joined us from Plymouth, UK. This family migrated to Australia on the Temporary Skill Shortage (subclass 482) visa. At Heatseal we welcome talent from all over the world.
James joins us as a glazier with 22 years’ experience. He will be installing UPVC frames and doors with double glazing, fitting fly screens and security doors as well, as surveying new jobs and carrying out remedial work. James has worked in this trade for many years and builds great customer relationships.
Kerry joins our administrative team to help ensure Heatseal runs smoothly! She will be in the office taking calls, meeting prospective customers and dealing with the day to day running of the office.
Kerry explains how her family are thriving in Western Australia.
“We have been in Western Australia for 5 months now and feel settled into our new lives. Our 3 children started school almost immediately, and all have made a good group of friends and have even socialised outside of school. They manage schoolwork comfortably and enjoy the trips to the beach at the end of the day.
Working at Heatseal keeps us both busy and has helped us settle more quickly, as a day-to-day routine has been established which makes it feel more like home. The Heatseal team have been more than welcoming and has really made us both feel a part of the team. We both enjoy speaking to people every day in the surrounding area, James through fitting the jobs and building up a repour with the customers, and myself contacting customers to arrange work to be carried out on the phone. We find this helps with becoming part of the community and helps us familiarise ourselves with the local geographics.
